I've been dealing with near daily migraine symptoms since ~November 2023 after experiencing a gradual worsening of migraine symptoms over time starting in Spring 2023. I have a history of weird vitamin deficiencies that point towards mal-absorbsion issues (ex: I've gotten anemia more than once in the past despite taking multivitamins, being a meat eater, and not being a person who menstruates).
I started taking magnesium supplements alongside riboflavin and coq in December 2023 and this caused a mild improvement in migraine symptoms.
I take a multivitamin supplement daily, a proton-pump inhibitor and magnesium supplement 120mg 3x daily (morning, 5pm and night). I'm taking a blood test tomorrow which will include a test for magnesium deficiency.
This resolves to yes if my doctor says I have a magnesium deficiency as a result of the tests.
