Athena C.Starting on November 7, 2022, the cryptocurrency exchange FTX suffered from a bank run after Binance announced that it would sell its holdings of FTT, FTX's exchange token. It declared bankruptcy on November 11 after a deal for Binance to acquire the company fell through.
