Background
Alexander Zverev has started strong at the 2025 Australian Open, defeating Lucas Pouille in straight sets in the first round. Currently ranked #2 in ATP rankings, Zverev had a successful 2024 season with two Masters 1000 titles. He recently recovered from a minor bicep strain but has shown no signs of discomfort in his opening match.
Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve to YES if Alexander Zverev reaches the men's singles final match of the 2025 Australian Open main draw tournament. This includes if he wins his semi-final match (or his opponent withdraws) but has to withdraw for any reason afterward. The market will resolve to NO if:
Zverev fails to reach the final by loss
Zverev withdraws from the tournament before reaching the final
Zverev is disqualified at any point during the tournament
If the 2025 Australian Open is cancelled or substantially modified (e.g., played without a traditional final match), the market will resolve N/A.
