Background
The 2025 Australian Open men's singles tournament features defending champion Jannik Sinner as the top seed in this section of the draw. This section (1/16) includes six players competing for one spot in the fourth round:
Jannik Sinner (1): Defending champion and top seed (already won his first match against N. Jarry)
Tristan Schoolkate (WC): Australian wild card entry (already won his first match against T. Daniel)
Marcos Giron
Yannick Hanfmann
Tomas Etcheverry
Flavio Cobolli (32): Seeded 32nd
Resolution Criteria
The market will resolve YES for the player who advances to the fourth round from this section of the draw (1/8). All other options will resolve NO.
If a player withdraws during a match, the winner of that match advances. If a player withdraws before their first match, their replacement (lucky loser or alternate) inherits their position in the draw. The market will resolve based on whoever actually reaches the fourth round, regardless of substitutions.
If the tournament is cancelled or significantly restructured before the fourth round is completed, the market resolves N/A.
Considerations
Players must win three matches to reach the fourth round
Injuries or withdrawals can significantly impact the draw
Weather delays or other external factors could affect player performance
Form leading up to and during the tournament can vary significantly from historical performance
