Bleacher Report has full win-loss record projections topped by the Celtics in the East and the Thunder in the West (both at 60 wins).
Preseason odds put Celtics first to win the championship, followed by the Knicks and the Nuggets.
But which team will remain undefeated the longest? Resolves YES for the last team to take a loss, NO for everyone else. If, annoyingly, two teams manage to be the last to lose on the same game number (not necessarily the same day), then I will resolve 50-50 (or the equivalent if it's three teams, etc.).
@traders Just trying to get ahead of a potential ambiguity in market resolution. As alluded to in the description, I'm interested more in the game number than the actual day for the final undefeated team. Currently, there are only two undefeated teams left. The Cavs have started 5-0 as of earlier tonight, and in all likelihood the Thunder will be 4-0 in about an hour. Neither team plays tomorrow, but both are playing Friday and both are playing Saturday.
What I'll be resolving based on is essentially which team begins the season with the longest win streak. If the Cavs lose on Friday and the Thunder win (meaning the Cavs will be 5-1 and the Thunder 5-0), I won't resolve for the Thunder until they manage to get to 6-0. If both teams lose Friday, the Cavs would still resolve as the last undefeated team, as they would be the only team to have started the season with 5 straight wins. If the Cavs lose Friday and the Thunder win, but then the Thunder lose Saturday (meaning both would have begun the season 5-1), I will resolve the market 50-50.
@traders updated options to break out the remaining undefeated teams. Some of whom are playing today! Happy trading
