Background

The 2025 Australian Open men's singles tournament has featured several notable upsets in the top half of the draw. Daniil Medvedev, seeded 5th, lost in the second round to American qualifier Learner Tien. And Taylor Fritz, seeded 4th and finalist at the 2024 U.S. Open, lost in the third round to an unseeded Gael Monfils. The path seems clear for world #1 Jannik Sinner to head to the final.

Resolution Criteria

The market will resolve to the player from the top half of the draw who reaches the men's singles final of the 2025 Australian Open. Only one player can advance to the final from each half of the draw. The market will resolve N/A if:

  • The tournament is cancelled or not completed

  • The format of the tournament is fundamentally changed

In the case of a walkover or retirement during the semifinal match, the player who advances to the final will be considered the winner for market resolution purposes.
