 I managed to pester my way into Durham Joint CS & Maths

UCAS extra Durham JMC... I can see this market being interpreted both ways

 we could keep debating this topic however it doesn't seem like this is going to lead anywhere. perhaps best would be to contact a moderator and ask them to settle this for us. do you know how to do this?

 it just seems to me that had pav updated the description saying he was going to apply to Durham with UCAS extra and given investors enough time to change their investments, then Yes would be a fair resolution.

but to give an exhaustive list and then to magically appear another option out of thin air and use that as the resolution seems a bit unfair. the whole point of this app is to make predictions given all the information, and it doesn't seem to me like this happened.

the description at the time very much did mention Bristol as a reason for a yes resolution. the fact that it was mentioned in an exhaustive list as one of the few possibilities left.

the title is not intended as a resolution criteria, it's meant as a brief summary of the market for potential investors to read and see if they are interested, so they don't have to read the whole description. and then if they decide to invest, then they read the description to make sure.

why would pav comment "bristol rejection" 19 days ago if the description at the time didn't mention a bristol acceptance as a reason for a Yes resolution?

the resolution criteria is so well-communicated from the title that the description is obviously informal and an approximation of the criteria

 if the description really was being updated as the situation unfolded as you insist, why is there no update about the withdrawal of UCL offer and UCAS extra application to Durham I wonder. it seems to me that to put something as strongly worded as the whole "resolves no otherwise" does intact make it the resolution criteria. I would argue that the resolution criteria are not clear and this would best be resolved as NA

 the description was updated as the situation unfolded and was never the formal resolution criteria, pav just didnt expect to get into durham through ucas extra. the resolution criteria is clear from the question

 of course you could have gotten into any university for psychology in shittsville with your grades

resolving this yes doesn't make any sense 

 I'm not sure I agree. The question "Will I get into a single UK university?" undoubtedly resolved as yes.

Do not dispair OP, I know a lot of folk who got awesome places either via clearing or by taking a year to go work/travel/study independently and re-applying with actual grades.

 CS admissions are currently quite rough (I assume due to post COVID gap years and an influx of internationals?)

I sort of foresaw this coming so do have an offer from UofT but damn...
