I am currently the VP of Engineering at a fintech startup in London. The time for calibrations and salary increases is coming in late March. I'm opening a market to guess what the percentage multiplier of my target bonus will be.
I got the target bonus as part of a promo package. The promo was trailing for 6 months, and it'll be another 6 months from the promo until calibrations. The offer I had with the promotion was a percentage of my total comp, which I negotiated up to double the original value.
The first half of the year we spent growing teams, hiring and setting all kinds and manners of policies and practices to settle the teams. The second half we have dealt with losing most of the executive saving for the founders. We've been covering all areas: product, technology, HR... while keeping the team running and the company profitable.
The decision is down to the board, as my (now former) manager is also out of the company.
So I'm asking manifold, what do you believe is be the percentage they will offer, and why?
The poll closes the moment the bonus is paid as part of April's salary.
