Resolution criteria

This market resolves YES if Tesla increases the FSD subscription price above $99/month at any point before December 31, 2027. Resolution will be determined by checking Tesla's official pricing on the Tesla app or website (https://www.tesla.com/support/full-self-driving-subscriptions). The price increase must be permanent and apply to new subscribers in the United States. Temporary promotional pricing or regional variations do not count. If Tesla discontinues the subscription model entirely before end of 2027, the market resolves N/A.

Background

As of January 2026, the subscription costs $99 a month for Tesla vehicles equipped with the requisite technology. Tesla announced on January 14, 2026 that it will stop selling FSD outright starting on February 14, shifting to a subscription-only model. Elon Musk indicated the $99 per month fee will rise before long, though he did not give a date or amount, just saying it would happen as the technology gets better.
