My partner and I are expecting our first child in October. We know the chromosomes already, but are keeping it a surprise from everyone else, including family and friends, until the child is born.
(Medical staff are an exception, but we don't expect medical staff to interact with family or friends)
This market resolves YES if the information gets out, such as if we accidently use gendered pronouns around others, or show sonograms that clearly give it away.
I and my partner will not buy YES, nor sell NO.
I'm unsure how to resolve this, due to some half slipups that we were unsure if friends heard. I could run a market on the gender as an interesting way to measure uncertainty, but that's unfortunately not how this question was operationalized. I'll continue to try to pry honest guesses out of our loved ones before they know for certain. Any feedback is appreciated.
@kenakofer Resolving N/A; since everyone said they had no clue, but there is at least one person I don't believe.
