How hard will it be to import my prereqs into the California Community Colleges system given my graduate degree?

I already have an undergraduate + graduate degree in a STEM field, but I am trying to enroll in a creative writing class, for which the basic English classes are usually a prerequisite. How hard will it be to convince the system that I qualify for this?

For the record, I have been having a surprisingly smooth experience with the California Community College system so far. ✨  I was able to verify my ID digitally and this website is super cool.
