I've been struggling a lot with stress recently, and in general I am the poor concentration, overthinking kinda person. Meditation seems like one of the ways I might be able to improve these things.
I have tried meditation a handful of times before, although it's never "stuck". I've not tried seriously for a few years now. At one point previously I was doing 30 minutes a day. I never felt like I noticed a particularly significant difference, but most of the times I tried it previously were in an attempt to improve symptoms of depression, so perhaps it would be more effective for stress relief.
If I commit to doing this, it will be unguided, and I will be attempting to focus on my breath.

I wrote a blog post about meditating for ~100 consecutive days: https://jonnyspicer.com/blog/is-meditation-magic/
TL;DR: I found my emotions easier to manage when not meditating, meditation itself became pleasurable
@wingedcatgirl Itโs going great - see my other comment.
Iโve never been diagnosed with ADHD but yes, I do think I fit the symptoms pretty well.
@Destiato Poorly :( Iโve tried a few times but struggled to get much of a streak going, in part because Iโve been traveling quite a bit recently. My travels should be done at the end of the month though so Iโm hoping I can get 30 consecutive days in August ๐ค
Iโve been trying loving kindness meditation and enjoying it, so I am more hopeful about seeing a benefit after 30 days than I was previously.
