Breath of the Wild was universally regarded for many reasons, but one thing that was clamored for was that Divine Beasts weren't as impressive as the old, traditional style dungeon of the past.
Shrines do not count for this criteria.
This question resolves positively if:
* There are seven or more distinct areas within Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that follow a classic-style dungeon design, such as a self-contained, puzzle-filled environment with a boss at the end.
* These areas feature unique themes or settings, and are not just variations of the same dungeon.
* Official strategy guides, developer interviews, or other authoritative sources specifically refer to these areas as "dungeons."
This question resolves negatively if:
* There are fewer than seven classic-style dungeons in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
* The areas in question are primarily composed of shrines or other non-dungeon elements, even if they share some similarities with classic-style dungeons.
* Official strategy guides, developer interviews, or other authoritative sources do not refer to these areas as "dungeons," or there is significant ambiguity in their classification.

@tbone_steak I haven’t gotten far enough into the game yet 😅 but if people wanna go ahead and outline their case for seven dungeons, feel free to do so, I’ll also look up what walkthroughs online are saying
Nintendo has confirmed that the game has "huge" dungeons with their own "regional look and feel." IDK about seven of them, though.
