This market resolves as N/A if the market embedded in the description below resolves to NO or N/A. Otherwise, this market resolves as YES or NO depending on my immediate feelings upon discovering the cause of the amnesia.
The reason this resolves based on immediate feelings rather than long-term outcomes is that a long-term market would always resolve to NO. Even if the memories are extremely traumatic, in the long run it's better to remember them since it makes working through the trauma much easier.
That being said, if dissociative amnesia is the reason I have unusually severe childhood amnesia, the cause is most likely very disturbing, and it could be the case that the only way I learn what happened for sure is by an extended flashback of a deeply traumatic event. I would regret that in the moment for sure.
Since this market is very, very subjective, I won't be placing any bets on it.
