I am a King player, and T7 was my first Tekken game. I have about 40 hours in the game and made it to red ranks with King this week. I can beat players in the ruler ranks, but also can lose to orange ranks. My Tekken prowess is something like 113,000.

I'd really like to improve at this game, and plan to do a good amount of replay analysis / matchup research so I can improve. My goal is Tenryu (17 dan) rank by the end of March. I never got past Warrior rank in T7 with my armor king. I played on stick, and I switched to pad for this game and have acclimated pretty quickly.

I will not bet NO on this market.

Holding fast in Garyu rank. Still hovering around the middle of early red ranks, and I do feel like my defense in particular is improving. Still haven't touched Shinryu rank, but it feels totally doable.

Still in Garyu. I'm able to beat red ranks with a lot of consistency, but I have gotten pluggers and purple ranked players who will mess me up and knock me back down. More wins than losses, but have not ranked up to Shinryu (one rank below my goal).

UPDATE 3/7/24

Made it to the rank right below my goal, halfway through. I went on a bit of a losing streak and demoted back to Garyu but starting to pick it up again. Feels very doable!
