Wan'Dale Robinson Will Outscore Kenny Golladay

Why This Is Bold: Per FantasyPros aggregate ADP, Wan'Dale Robinson is going 22 wide receiver spots below Kenny Golladay.
Why This Will Happen: I loved Kenny Golladay once upon a time, but he hasn't done anything substantial in the NFL since 2019. He's going to start on the perimeter for the Giants, but I'm more intrigued by rookie Wan'Dale Robinson at his cost this year.

Robinson was a top-three slot receiver in college football last year according to PFF charting, and he had the seventh-best score in my prospect model within this year's receiving class. He should start immediately in the slot for New York after getting second-round draft capital, and new head coach Brian Daboll's offenses have used the primary slot guy quite a bit in recent years -- Cole Beasley had prorated target shares of 23%, 20%, and 19% over the last three seasons in Buffalo.

The combination of Golladay's question marks alongside a really underrated Robinson profile makes this prediction a reasonable one.

At the end of the day, bold predictions are just looking at either side of some range of outcomes. For a bold prediction to come true for a player, he’s likely either hitting his floor, or he’s hitting his ceiling. So you can still get mathematical and nerdy when putting together these wacky forecasts. You don’t need to throw random takes at the wall and hope some of them stick.
