Quarterback mobility can make an unknown player in a bad environment with bad weapons and a bad offensive line relevant. We saw this just last year with Fields. After Week 7 of the 2021 season, Fields started and finished four games. He scored no fewer than 16.9 points per contest during that stretch while averaging 19.7 points per game.

And it was because of...rushing. He averaged 8.5 rush attempts per game during that timeframe, adding almost 8 fantasy points per game on the ground alone.

If this new coaching staff lets Fields loose -- despite the issues around him -- he could be very usable.

At the end of the day, bold predictions are just looking at either side of some range of outcomes. For a bold prediction to come true for a player, he’s likely either hitting his floor, or he’s hitting his ceiling. So you can still get mathematical and nerdy when putting together these wacky forecasts. You don’t need to throw random takes at the wall and hope some of them stick.
