Reasons why I will get in:
My SAT is 1560 (above the average of admitted students)
I have taken advanced college level classes such as
Multivariable Calculus
Linear Algebra
I have taken some APs and gotten scores of 4 or above on all of them
AP Calculus BC
AP Biology
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP Computer Science
AP Statistics
My GPA is 3.9, which is within the range of admitted applicants. My school is also pretty difficult compared to the average US public school
The acceptance rate is 40%!
I'm applying for math
Reasons why I won't get in:
I'm a high school junior, applying one year early
I only started the application today, and the deadlines are pretty close (early deadline is in December, latest I can submit is mid January)
I don't know if I have a strong answer for some of the prompts
I'm from the United States (so I'm international)
I did not include much extracurricular information on this market because I don't think they care much about that.

@astyerche i think when i was deliberating this stuff i didnt actually consider coursework done and stuff 😬. can speak on your behalf that as a cs applicant you have a strong portfolio outside of school AND have shown personal interest. math seems secondary
@astyerche it seems mostly grades based :V of which we are UP!!! and the essays seem nice
@TheBayesian Also, does ‘get in’ mean decide to join the uni as a student and be accepted to do it and end up doing it, or applying and getting an acceptance email or wtv. If the former, how likely do you think it is that you’d join uni of toronto if you got accepted there? Will you apply elsewhere too?
