The International Skating Union banned Russian and Byelorussian athletes from participating in ISU competitions as of the 2022-2023 season due to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine at the request of Ukraine.

Despite this, the Russian Federation is the undefeated and unquestionably strongest nation-state in the sport (As witnessed by its many top athletes such as Anna Scherbakova and Kamila Valieva where almost all winners and leaders in Figure Skating are Russian due to their mastery of the sport).

Mounting pressure from the non-western international community to unban these athletes is ever expanding, and since ISU Competitions work with NFSF's (National Figure Skating Federations) as opposed to NOC's (National Olympic Committees), there is a real change this ban may be revoked as FSFR (Figure Skating Federation of Russia) is not officially banned.

Will Resolve "Yes" if a public press-statement from the ISU on the revocation of the ban is released by the end of the 2024-2025 sporting season.

Will Resolve "No" if ban is upheld.
