Of the top three constructors of the 2023 F1 World Championship, will any of them break the cost cap?

Resolves to YES if

  • Any team breaks the cost cap, as confirmed by the FIA

  • AND That team finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the championship (as per the results on 1st December, 2023).

Resolves to NO if

  • No team breaks the cost cap

  • OR A team does break the cap, but finishes 4th or lower.

  • AND The FIA has not released a statement that a team has broken the cost cap by the first round of the 2024 F1 season.

I think the "AND The FIA has not released a statement that a team has broken the cost cap by the first round of the 2024 F1 season." should be changed. The FIA cannot and do not clarify the cost call that quickly.

Also what happened if a team of disqualified for breaking the cost cap?

predicts NO

@Tagger extending this to the start of Aug '24, as that's after the reporting deadline (I think, as iirc it's 31st March) and rumors should be flying.

Will update the description to be "Championship results as of 1st December 2023", and will add those to the description when they're known. If any teams are disqualified prior to that date - that'll be reflected here :)
