Lando needed to gain 7+ points every race weekend on Max. He failed to do so today. Now it's up to 8.5 points. So Max winning the WDC has become MORE likely. Sure, the car is lacking but we knew this and clearly everyone else keeps taking points off each other. Piastri winning out of merit and pure race craft today while also seeing that Ferrari issue very competitive is a terrible sign for Lando.

McLaren is just too dumb to bring a real challenge
