We've had series such as Record of Ragnarok and American Gods that contained entertaining depictions of sacred characters from, among others, Hinduism, Christianity, and Buddhism.

However, mainstream producers have carefully avoided depicting Islam's prophet Muhammad and god Allah. Cursory internet search suggests that this is due to the chilling effect of Islamic violence, most notably the Charlie Hebdo shooting:
