Resolves to YES if I decide by deadline that it was money well spent, for any reason - helps with my understanding of AI, mundane utility, you name it.

Resolve to NO if I decide it wasn't.

I was previously happy with my Pixel 7, which still works fine, but figured given my beat I should get the AI machine.

Subjective market, will not be clarifying, trade at own risk, etc. Do point out cool things to do with it though!

For a while it wasn't working for me, but once I actually got used to it and learning when to open it and when not to, I'm finding it to be excellent. The AI features have been relatively unimpressive for now but it's a really good phone.

I'm voting no because to me "money well spent* implies a somewhat optimal choice and or receiving appropriate value for the money spent. My perspective is that it is often difficult to justify an extremely high end purchase because of the high cost markup over phones that are not that differently spec'd. I tend to buy mid range and also often go for something lightly used. The cost of my latest phone was low enough that I could probably upgrade every year for three or four years without spending as much as you are in one upgrade.

reading pdfs should be easier, which I'm sure you do a lot

is the Pixel 7 your current phone/the one you're replacing?

oh, and if so, did you use the trade in program (for a credit/discount) or pay in full?

The Pixel 7 is my current phone and I am retaining it as a backup.

got it - I went from the 6 to the 8 last year and it was a good move. idk about the fold specifically, but I think you'll like the improvements.
