NO

The source I am using is Nielsen.

  • Here is their March 2024 report: Netflix accounted for 8.1% of total TV viewing.

  • For comparison, in February it accounted for only 7.8% of total TV viewing.

This market resolves YES if the Netflix's equivalent percentage in Nielsen's April 2024 viewership report is >8.0%.

  • I will use the decimal precision given by Nielsen—e.g. exactly 8.0% resolves NO.

  • If for some reason I am unable to find a similar-looking Nielsen streaming report for April by the end of June, this market will resolve N/A (I don't expect that to be an issue).

Context

  • In March, major Netflix releases included "3 Body Problem", "The Gentlemen", & the finale of "Love is Blind S6".

  • In April, major Netflix releases include "Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver", "CoComelon Lane: Season 2", & "Sex and the City: Seasons 1-6".

@traders Netflix dropped to 7.6%—resolves NO.

I made a new market for May—can Netflix bounce back on the strength of Bridgerton and surpass 7.8%?
