Context: The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) just issued a cease-and-desist order to Kalshi, requiring it to halt operations in the state by 5:00 PM on March 14, 2025.
Resolution
This market resolves YES if Nevada residents are able to trade in sports contracts on March 16th 2025.
If Kalshi halts operations in Nevada entirely, then by definition they cannot trade sports contracts & it resolves NO.
It doesn't matter if it's possible to circumvent the restrictions. What matters is if a self-identifying Nevada resident could normally login to Kalshi and place a bet.
A consensus of credible reporting will be used.
In case there is some change during the day, what matters is whether someone could hypothetically place a trade at noon PT.

I assume this https://cdcgaming.com/kalshi-given-time-to-address-nevada-cease-and-desist-on-offering-sports-elections-contracts/ means this market will resolve YES, but I'll try & ask to confirm
@Ziddletwix i can't find any evidence that kalshi is blocked in any form in nevada, so i will resolve this YES (given the announcement of a delay on their order). LMK if I missed anything.
