Resolution criteria

It will resolve yes if the ABC reports on a mandatory Fuel Rationing Announcement from the Government.

It resolves yes for the month the announcement takes place even if it will be in effect in the following month. If the ABC first reports on a different date to the daye of the announcement, the date of the announcement is used. If no announcement is made in 2026 the market will resolve “NO Aus Fuel Rationing in 2026”.

The announcement must include an explicit start date. An announcement that fuel rationing will happen in the coming weeks will not resolve the market yes, unless a specific date for rationing to begin is given.

Mandatory Fuel Rationing includes for rationing for diesel and/or petrol.

The announcement can be from a State or the Federal Government.
