Since the market hasn't seemed to reach a consensus yet I took a look at the original post again. The fact that they appear to actually be serious about banning voting rings (https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/mz3hwS4c9bc9EHAm9/replacing-karma-with-good-heart-tokens-worth-usd1?commentId=mmb8JK6p9mj8ksLtT) makes me think they might actually pay people out per the stated post. It could also be that they're just trying hard to act serious, so I'm only buying enough to get the market up to 58%.
Logistics of payouts are difficult. I’m skeptical.
I assumed it was probably an April Fool's joke and wouldn't actually pay out, but it sounds like the market disagrees currently. Interesting.
Re: "This doesn't automatically resolve NO because of the "The minimum number of tokens to be exchanged is 25." clause, right? Right?" Correct. If someone gets >$25 for getting >25 Good Heart Tokens, this will resolve positively. The intent of this question is basically just to evaluate whether it's an April Fool's joke that won't actually pay out real money (negative resolution) or whether it's legitimate (positive resolution).
This doesn't automatically resolve NO because of the "The minimum number of tokens to be exchanged is 25." clause, right? Right?
