i don’t know much about chess, but i’ve the confidence to resolve this from a little bit of googling.
chess.com says that blitz chess (included example) is “more commonly known as speed chess”, so we’re good there. the description also mentions tournament play being ok, so i don’t see a reason this wouldn’t count.
