Adjusting for cost-of-living, teachers in Florida are the lowest paid in the country (beating the next-lowest, Mississippi, by nearly 5k https://usafacts.org/articles/which-states-pay-teachers-the-most-and-least/ ). I'm decently smart and am crushing grad school, but am shit at networking and self-promotion. The semester is wrapping up, so my goal for the next few weeks is to finish assembling a portfolio of my work. After that, I'll start through job boards and LinkedIn rather than Indeed. I don't really care what sort of job it is, and will be taking anything that either pays more, or pays similarly and is remote.

NA/ing this one because I will be teaching again, but found a job I am happy with and stopped searching for non-classroom jobs, so it feels unfair to resolve it as yes or no.
