@UniversalFC I'm still pretty new here but resolving N/A to wipe out what's almost entirely (Predictor only loses M60 vs your M1k+) your own losses doesn't sound to me like it'd be the best look

@something612 I am a small YES holder, but I don’t think the failure of a third party tool is a real reason to resolve this N/A. It just seems like an arbitrary line to draw.

@Predictor if were on the other side of this trade, would you really think N/A was the correct move? @UniversalFC, whether you intend it or not, based on who benefits most, N/Aing this looks more like a way to recoup creator losses than anything else. I think it does a bit of a disservice to the folks who took the time to watch the game and bet on what was actually happening to N/A this based on an errant fot mob notification. I think it should just be a lesson learned about the risks of betting sight unseen.

@Charlie @UniversalFC Obviously I'm talking my book, but I'd find it very strange to NA this because of some app that has nothing to do with Manifold.

@UniversalFC I think that was the right call. When something goes weird, there’s really no rush to resolve until everything’s settled and folks on both sides have had a chance to weigh in. It’s also a good lesson in how betting on one’s own markets can make things a little messier if the resolution is disputed. I do it plenty, but as Manifold gets bigger, I could see the most trusted creators being the ones who abstain from betting on their own markets for this reason.

Sorry @Predictor! Frustrating, but I think you might agree it was probably ultimately the right call. And my guess is your profits off fotmob notifications are higher than your losses!
