Resolution criteria

• Scope and timing: “The movement” refers to mobilizations branded “Bloquons tout” and the Sept 10, 2025 call. Unless a specific date is named in an answer, events may resolve Yes if they occur between Sept 10 and Dec 31, 2025. Use common sense if actions clearly pertain to this movement outside that window.

• Attendance thresholds:

  • Paris turnout on a given day: use the Paris Prefecture of Police figure; if absent, use the Interior Ministry’s. Media reporting must attribute the number to these authorities. National turnout: use Interior Ministry totals. If multiple official figures exist, prefer the more specific jurisdiction (Prefecture for Paris, Interior for national). • Union “joins and supports the movement”: resolves Yes if the national confederation (not only a local/sectoral branch) publishes a public call explicitly backing Sept 10 (“Bloquons tout”) on its official site or verified national social account:

  • ≥20% of gas stations face fuel shortages: resolves Yes if the government “prix-carburants” dataset or ministry briefings (as reported by major outlets) indicate ≥20% of stations in rupture of at least one fuel on a given day; we’ll use the government dataset or reputable press analyses thereof.   • UNEF calls for university blockades: see union rule above; link required.

  • ≥10 universities blocked on a single day: resolves Yes if major outlets or the Higher Education Ministry list ≥10 universities with confirmed blockades (not just protests) on that date (link required).

• Geography/counting notes:

  • “Over 40 simultaneous protest locations on Sept 10, 2025”: count distinct French municipalities with active gatherings between 12:00–20:00 local time, as mapped/listed by reputable outlets or national union maps cross-checked by press. Provide at least one media link. (linternaute.com)

• Duration trigger:

  • “Movement lasts more than 2 months (≥100,000 people manifesting in Paris after Nov 10)”: resolves Yes if, on any date Nov 11–Dec 31, 2025, the Paris Prefecture of Police reports ≥100,000 participants in a protest explicitly linked by media or authorities to “Bloquons tout.” Otherwise No.
