This market resolves YES if Amazon acquires Saks Global Enterprises (or its successor entity, or a spun off entity or entities that includes a substantial majority of the assets) in a transaction that gives Amazon majority (>50%) ownership and control. Resolution will be based on official announcements from Amazon and/or Saks Global, SEC filings, or court documents confirming the acquisition has closed. Market will be extended if an acquisition is announced or likely but held up due to court proceedings or other reasons. If Saks is liquidated or dissolved without being acquired by Amazon, the market resolves NO early. If the bankruptcy process concludes with a different buyer acquiring Saks, the market resolves NO early. If no information suggesting that Amazon will acquire Saks is out before Jan 1, 2028, the market resolved NO. But I will be generous with extending the market to a period of one year past any concrete moves or credible leaks, as long as not purely speculation.
