Resolution criteria
This market resolves based on videos published on the official Periodic Videos YouTube channel or linked on the official Periodic Videos website between market creation and December 31, 2027, 23:59 UTC.
Each listed element will resolve YES if the channel uploads a new, dedicated standalone video primarily focusing on that element (e.g., standard updated element releases typically titled with the element name, with or without qualifiers like "(new)" or "v2").
An option will resolve NO if no dedicated updated video for that element is published on the channel by the cutoff date.
Videos that briefly mention an element in passing, compile past footage, or focus primarily on a broader reaction, molecule, lab tour, or news story will not qualify unless the video title or the official Periodic Videos website explicitly marks it as an element update.
Shorts or re-uploaded clips do not count toward resolution.
Background
Created by video journalist Brady Haran in collaboration with Professor Sir Martyn Poliakoff and the chemistry team at the University of Nottingham, Periodic Videos (originally The Periodic Table of Videos) initially recorded videos for all 118 elements on the periodic table in 2008.
Since completing the initial table, the team has periodically produced updated, higher-definition, and expanded videos for individual elements, often demonstrating new experiments or highlighting rarer samples.
