At the end of 2023, will I believe that "bigfoot" is a near-hominid species of great ape that avoids humans very effectively", and the possibility is worth spending some non-negligible amount of effort investigating?

In case I don't think this is worth investigating, this resolves as false. If I investigate this, I'll resolve it to my subjective crecedence that this is true.

Ok. Investigating this was already worth it (mostly read the comments to the reddit post) just for learning more about colossal squids (https://old.reddit.com/r/slatestarcodex/comments/mbww69/a_reasoned_case_for_bigfoot/). I knew these existed, but it hadn't occured to me how damn common they must be so that we actually come across them once in a while. The deep see is a weird place.
