THE RULES ARE DIFFERENT FROM ROUND 1! PLEASE READ!
Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to the person or fictional character I am currently thinking of. Participants can submit their guesses as answers. The market will close on June 19, 2025, and I will reveal the correct individual shortly thereafter. The first correct answer will resolve "Yes," while all others will resolve "No." If no correct answer is provided by the closing date, the market will resolve to "N/A."
Rules
You can find out who I am thinking of by asking yes-or-no questions. You can ask an unlimited number of questions in the comments.
For each question you asked send 30 mana or 40 mana. If you spend 30 mana, the answer will be publicly revealed in the comments. If you spend 40 mana, you will be DMd the answer to your question.
If you submit more questions that you spend money for, the first questions you asked and paid for will be answered.
This market is a guessing game where participants attempt to identify the individual I have in mind. The "M1500 Prize" indicates a reward of 1500 mana for the creator of the correct answer.
You may not:
Ask "Is it [name]?" or other question that would give away the name of the individual.
Ask questions that narrow down the possible people to one individual.
If your question is deemed by the resolver to be unreasonable for reasons above or otherwise, you will be refunded. The resolver reserves the right to not answer any question.
The following data is from public answered questions:
The person is not fictional or mythical.
The person was not born before 1513.
People are also trading
(Feel free to reject this if it's not on the spirit of the game you wanted, but the pricing is cheap enough to warrant it)
Private questions:
Copied from Logan Turner
Is their birth month included in the list…
(Sep Oct Nov Dec)?
(May Jun Jul Aug)?
(Mar Apr Jul Aug Nov Dec)?
(Feb Apr Jun Aug Oct Dec)?
Is their birth day of the month…
larger than 16?
within 9–16 or 25–31 (inclusive)?
within 5–8 or 13–16 or 21–24 or 29–31 (inclusive)?
either a multiple of 4 or one less than such?
even?
Let X = 2025 - their birth year. Let Y be the binary representation of X.
>Is the first, right most (least significant) bit of Y equal to 0?
>Is the second right most bit of Y equal to 0?
>third?
>fourth?
>fifth?
>sixth?
>seventh?
>eighth?
>ninth?
For instance, 256 has the binary representation 100000000, so only the last question of those 9 would be YES.
@spiderduckpig Since I had a bit of an issue with this in the last round, I am not going to answer all of this. However, as a private question I will either answer the birth date questions or the birth month questions. I will refund you what I am not going to answer, but let me know which you would prefer.
@spiderduckpig If you don't mind, I'd rather not do the year, only the date or month. That's still useful because if it ends up being eliminated to a couple people you can deduce who it is. Sorry.
2.1: Is this entity either fictional or mythical?
