Will the @NPR Twitter account be labeled "US state-affiliated media" in June?

NO

The label has recently been added and has generated some controversy:

https://twitter.com/npr

Resolves YES if: At market close the @NPR twitter account has this label or a similar one.

Resolves NO if: No label or a new, less strongly worded one (like "Partially state-funded media").

THE LABEL CHANGED, see my update in the comments.

Update, all the labels were removed from all accounts.

The current label is "Government funded" which I consider to fit the criteria for a NO resolution (market will still only be resolved in June)

@Shai Even in NPR's official response below, there is a noticeable tension between "Our federal funding is so small it's insignificant" and "federal funding is very important"

NPR claims that on average less than 1% of their annual budget comes from federal sources:

Is this true? Why not just stop receiving it then?

@ShaiNatapov They just laid off a bunch of their staff. I don’t imagine they’re so flush with cash that they can turn money down.
