Próspera is a charter city in Honduras. A friend-of-friend has organized tech summits there in the past and thinks it's a realistic option. But logistics are difficult.
Resolves N/A if no conference in 2023. Resolves NO if the first conference Manifold hosts in 2023 is held elsewhere, even if some subsequent event is later held there.

Seems fairly unlikely for the first Manifest conference as the logistics to do it in prospera feel about 10x more complicated than for Rose Garden Inn (which is basically in our backyard), plus requirement to travel for it means attendance might be like ~20-40% of what it would be in the bay.
I'm a lot more excited about doing a Manifest in Prospera in eg 5-7 months from now, after their format is more established
@Austin: Re "attendance might be like ~20-40% of what it would be in the bay":
Would it though?
Although hosting in the Rose Garden Inn would be super convenient for the Manifold employees and the Proofnik crowd since they're in the Bay Area already, the rest of Manifold's userbase is quite geographically spread out (I'm in the Boston area, for example). Although a good fraction of all Manifolders do live in the US, traveling very long distances across international borders isn't too different from traveling very long distances within the same country (at least in my experience).
The other main issue I foresee is that Honduras is a Spanish-speaking country, and most Manifolders are English-speaking (eg I don't know any Spanish). That said, since Próspera is a charter city, I'd guess that it's an unusually English-speaking city by Honduran standards, which could potentially reduce the language barrier substantially.
I've bet a little YES accordingly.
