@ReeMARKable exactly one of these options will be correct, all of the others will be wrong. So when someone buys, say, "Celtics win 4-0“, this should not only increase the probability of that option but decrease the probability of all others, so that the total remains at 100%.

There is a setting when creating the market that does exactly that, although I don't think you can change it now that the market is already open.
