NO

This will resolve to yes if I have a positive test for COVID before August 7. I will only take a homemade test if I show any symptoms, but will do for just one symptom if it last more that 12 hours. In the following two weeks, I will be participating in two events that I have been organizing: -A small meeting of 25 people. They all come from different countries, mostly Costa Rica, Colombia, the US and France. This meeting implies spending around 6-7 hours in a closed space with these 25 people for two days (July 21-22), having lunch with them, and probably going for drinks at least once. Mask is mandatory for the event, and probably everyone has had at least the two vaccines with a boost. -A bigger meeting of over 100 people, from July 26-31. Again, people come from all over Latin America, The US, Canada and Europe. It has plenary talks in a big auditorium, and smaller parallel sessions in closed classrooms (with windows). There will be some social events during the meeting. Mask is mandatory, but vaccination is not. Regarding myself, I have not had a positive test for COVID ever. My partner recently had COVID (one week ago), and while she isolated, we still were in the same apartment during her sickness. I had a second booster shot last Friday July 8 (6 months from my first booster).

Jul 24, 4:11pm: so the first meeting went by, no symptoms yet. On Friday, one of the participants tested positive. I did had contact with him, but usually masked or outdoors. After he tested I saw him, but not for more than a couple of minutes.

Jul 30, 10:05am: today is the end of the conference. On Thursday I was having some symptoms (sore throat, fatigue, headaches) so I took a test on Friday morning, which came out negative. Feeling better today.
