I kinda have trouble hurting someone's rating. I was thinking through how I felt about a market that I bet on before scrutinizing if I think the resolution criteria is well written, and I was like, "oh, this market creator needs to improve, I'll probably give them 5 stars anyway" cuz I don't want to hurt their reputation score.
Reputation inflation is what they call it when it's perceived to be antisocial to rate anyone under 5 stars for any reason ever. It emerged from customer service pipelines at large firms (where firing people for getting under 4.97 isn't even slightly rare).

This is not a normative poll, since I'm confident that that would be boring (we all probably agree that in principle we should suck up the unpleasantness of being mean in order to resist reputation inflation / have market ratings be a good signal). You can answer either with how you personally feel about rating people / have rated people here so far or with your perception of what "most users" do (even tho that perception would be flawed).
