Honestly, the person who’s best at building IKEA furniture isn’t always the strongest or the “DIY expert” type — it’s usually the one who’s calm and actually follows the instructions instead of winging it. In my experience, the real IKEA champion is someone who:
lays all the parts out first
doesn’t rush
reads the steps twice
keeps track of the tiny screws
stays patient when something doesn’t line up right away
People who’ve worked with mechanical setups or assembly projects before tend to have an advantage too. Like, if someone has experience with things such as tubular linear actuators
, they probably won’t get overwhelmed by a pile of panels and bolts, because it’s the same mindset — careful assembly, logical steps, and knowing how components fit together.
