Post about your blog on X/Twitter

Stop publishing short posts, focus on getting out one high quality, high engagement post every week. Add any minor information / correction at the beginning or end of new posts, don't create a separate short post for it.

People want to avoid overly noisy blogs.

Write a review of a philosophy book and submit it to the annual ACX book review contest. If you do a good job and win there will be plenty of new paid followers.

Choose a popular blogger with a strong following and promise to take their work / philosophy down in a series of posts. This is what Robert Wu tried to do with Noah Smith. He failed imo but I’m pretty sure he grabbed a lot of attention.

Write something econ-baity that gets picked up by MR 👀

Make blog posts which are responses to other people’s posts. Link your response in their comments.

Cross-post/link-post relevant pieces to any other social media platforms and forums where they fit, either just to your profile page or to relevant community pages, with a link to your blog at the beginning e.g. Reddit, Facebook, Xitter, Threads, LessWrong, Effective Altruism Forum etc

1. Having some non-paywalled content for potential readers to sample. If you are promoting with the link you provided - it's a paywall with something I know nothing about, not very effective.

2. Posting said content in relevant places, I suggest reddit, but only where it makes sense, as a link in comments for relevant discussion and as a post in subreddits that allow and are interested in such content.
