I went for a laser eye surgery consultation. They said there's about a 50% chance the surgeon will recommend Lasek (and 50% PRK). From what I've read, the risk of dry eyes is higher with Lasek but the recovery time is 3 weeks with PRK (vs a few days with Lasek).

If I don't get laser eye surgery in a year this resolves ambiguous.
