Stretching your definition a bit, but if one reads "everyday tool" as "something you use nearly every day" and "tool" as "piece of technology that makes accomplishing a specific task easier" and "own" as "have access to be able to use" then I'm going to say GitHub Copilot. I seriously cannot overstate how much of a life changer it has been for me since I got access to the closed beta. If you are someone who writes a lot of code, I urge you to give Copilot a try. It is so astronomically different from even the best traditional autocomplete tools.
