Currently (2Nov23), Vooruit (Dutch for Forward) is part of the federal De Croo Government in Belgium (De Croo being the Belgian Prime Minister).
Federal elections are scheduled to be held in Belgium on 9 June 2024.
The party Vooruit was founded following the linguistic split of the unitary Belgian Socialist Party in 1978, which also produced the Francophone Socialist Party.
