I wrote a sea shanty musical, and I plan to submit it to the University of Auckland’s student theatre company, Stray Theatre.

Considerations:

• There have been between 4 and 9 submissions in previous years.

• I submitted it last year, and made it to the interview stage; the producers said they loved the script but wouldn’t be able to find the crew in the time they had. I plan to fill as many of those roles as I can this year, either by doing it myself or finding someone else myself.

I will notify the market when I’ve submitted. I won’t resolve when I receive a final confirmation email, only when Stray announces the Original Bill publicly.
