@KevinBurke I'm not sure exactly where to draw the line with these markets - it's clear that Rubio isn't throwing his hat in the ring in the primaries, but there's an unusual amount of uncertainty this year due to the candidates' ages and unpopularity, as well as Trump's legal troubles. Trump is likely to be nominated and stay the nominee until Election Day, and if he doesn't then it's hard to imagine Rubio suddenly starting a campaign, but I'm not comfortable ruling it out at this point.
I think that /NcyRocks/will-kamala-harris-run-for-presiden should certainly stay open, seeing as Harris would be Biden's natural replacement if he dropped out. Rubio isn't in the same position by a long shot, but in my mind it's a matter of degree, not kind.
All things considered, I'd rather wait until Election Day. Sorry if that's not what you expected, but that's why I set the close date to then rather than the date of the RNC.
