I decided the ~$20000 Auckland-SF round-trip plane tickets weren't worth it last time.

But this time-

• I might get them earlier and thus cheaper (they're ~$2000 rn), or

• I might be able to convince my university that it counts as an academic trip, or

• someone might sponsor me (especially if @ManifoldLive gets big enough), or

• it might be held closer to New Zealand. (On the off chance that whoever's in charge of organising is reading this and interested in actually having it in NZ, message me!)
