Resolution criteria
This market resolves based on the first Hearthstone constructed balance patch after the Lost City of Un’Goro mini-set “Day of Rebirth” goes live (scheduled for September 2, 2025). “First balance patch” means the first subsequent patch (client or data-only) in which Blizzard’s official notes list constructed card changes (“Card Updates,” “Hearthstone Updates,” etc.). Source for Un’Goro and mini-set timing: Blizzard expansion page and patch blogs; mini-set name/date: wiki.gg and Blizzard’s 33.2 notes referring to “Day of Rebirth.” (hearthstone.blizzard.com, hearthstone.wiki.gg)
Each answer resolves independently:
“X card/deck archetype nerfed/buffed” resolves YES if that exact named card receives a functional nerf/buff (mana/statline/text/keyword/tribe change that affects power level) in that patch per Blizzard notes; NO otherwise. Use Blizzard patch notes as primary source. Example notes format: 33.0, 33.2. (hearthstone.blizzard.com)
Non-functional text clarifications, bug fixes with no balance impact, Arena microadjustments, Battlegrounds/Duels/Mercenaries-only changes do not count. Official source for resolution: Blizzard patch notes post for that patch on hearthstone.blizzard.com. (hearthstone.blizzard.com)
Background
The Lost City of Un’Goro launched on July 8, 2025; Blizzard stated its mini-set would arrive with Patch 33.4. Blizzard’s 33.2 notes also ran a “Fire Festival” ending September 2 “leading up to the Day of Rebirth,” aligning with the mini-set’s timing. (hearthstone.blizzard.com)
Wiki.gg lists the mini-set as Day of Rebirth, releasing September 2, 2025. (hearthstone.wiki.gg)
Historically, Blizzard often schedules a balance window shortly after a mini-set launches (see 32.2.2 dev comment). Expect a patch within roughly 1–2 weeks if adjustments are needed. (hearthstone.blizzard.com)
Community chatter and early lists suggest “Quest/Murloc Paladin” and “Protoss Priest” archetypes have been notable since Un’Goro launch, but exact targets depend on post–mini-set data. Example deck aggregates: Hearthstone Top Decks, vS. (hearthstonetopdecks.com, vicioussyndicate.com)
Considerations
If Blizzard includes constructed balance changes in the 33.4.0 mini-set patch itself, that counts as the “first balance patch” (answers resolve to that patch). If the mini-set patch has no constructed changes, use the next balance patch (e.g., 33.4.1/33.4.2). (hearthstone.blizzard.com)
Server-side “hotfix” balance updates (no client download) still count if Blizzard posts official notes. (hearthstone.blizzard.com)
