San Francisco is not scheduled to hold any elections until March 2024. This market resolves to yes if the SF Department of Elections conducts an election in 2023. This could happen due to, for example (but not limited to):
The SF Board of Supervisors schedules a special election
A ballot initiative (including a recall petition) qualifies with enough signatures to trigger a special election
A vacancy in state or federal office
Please note: an election in any part of San Francisco will count. For example, a special election for California's 15th Congressional District (covering parts of San Francisco and San Mateo County) would resolve this market to Yes, even though most San Franciscan voters would not vote in this election.
